Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her performances on the television series The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility throughout 2003, delivering impressive performances in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit The Shield, 1-8-7, as well as Under the Dome. In 2005 she came under the spotlight by her character Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 The film was her performance as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) for the biographical All the Way film that led to her fame as an actor. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground.
