Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. Her birthplace was in Phoenix Arizona, United States on July 16, 1991. In 2012 she had a small guest role with Victoria Justice on Victorious. Shipp had her first acting performance as a kid as a child in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel, released in 2009. Shipp then appeared on the Nickelodeon's third season teenage drama House of Anubis playing the part of KT Rush. Shipp was first noticed as a 2014 breakout star after her performance in Dani Raymond the VH1 TV sequel Drumline: A New Beat as well Aaliyah Haughton, the title character in Lifetime Television film Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: A Aliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah: Aaliyah. For the latter performance Shipp was also a singer. Another role she portrayed was that of Ice Cube's partner, Kimberly Woodruff, in Straight Outta Compton. The biographical drama chronicled the career of N.W.A. The actress co-starred alongside Bryan Singer in the superhero movie X-Men: Apocalypse, as Ororo Storm/Murrell, a weather-controlling mutant previously played by Halle Berry. She starred with Nick Robinson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Lucy Hale as Dude in 2018, and also with Nick Robinson in Love Simon. James is her older brother. She portrayed Danielle Dani Ray's role in Drumline : A New Beat, the TV film from the year 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp, born on the 16th of July, 1991, is an American instrumentalist, musician and singer who made her name by portraying Aaliyah (real-life artist) in the Lifetime television series Aaliyah The Princess of R&B in 2014 as well as Kimberly Woodruff from the Oscar nominated Straight Outta Compton in 2015.
